If you'll allow me to wax a bit.

Hiiii, my name is Cube, how ya doiiiin’? You probably knew that already. Talking about myself is always hard but, here goes.

I am a (currently) 30-something from the East Coast of the USA. I use he/she so I’d consider myself bigender? I think? It’s a relative recent development. I think that makes me trans too but I’m really comfortable with taking that on yet. Definitely bisexual though, that’s pretty set in stone. I am of Italian and Brazilian descent. Can speak Portuguese, no Italian though. Not as in touch with that part of me as I could be, I suppose.

I think I’ve been on the internet since 2005. There’ll be a history of me page at some point maybe. I didn’t start posting myself until 2007 though. Never had my own proper website before now either. It felt like a good time what with the cratering of Twitter/X, the rise of Bluesky, a lot of other people seem to be doing it... If nothing else it’s a good project for me to focus on.

Like I said on the front page I don’t really have any strong set plans for this thing. I have a to-do list but not much beyond that. Just ideas swirling in my head. Maybe this’ll just be a better way for people to understand me. I’d definitely like to experiment more with HTML and CSS. I want to give myself a little microblog here that’ll blast things to bluesky and elsewhere. I want to try and write about the the things I like and am currently liking. I want to collect 88x31 buttons. I want to collect my art here. I want to maybe make some embarrassing shrines to my fave characters. I want to post things about my embarrassing OCs. I want to link to my friends’ sites. I want to make a webgarden. It’s all so up in the air.

Should I talk about myself some more? I’ve got some hobbies and interests, though most of them involve The Computer, in some way.

• ⌨️ Mechanical keyboards. I looooove all the customization people do to them. It’s also very expensive so I’m mostly just an observer. I do have a Keychron K8 Pro that I’ve been able to customize a bit myself but I’ll save that for a ‘hardware I’m using’ page. I want to learn to solder so I can one day build my own from scratch.
• 🎮 VIDEO GAMES!!! That’s probably not surprising, huh. I think my first proper console was an N64 but I remember us briefly having a Sega Genesis for whatever reason. A lot of the inspiration for a lot of the things I do comes from the games I’ve played over the years. I don’t really tend to stick to one system, I play wherever except mobile phones. Just can’t gel with phone games for whatever reason. I’ve tried!
• 🎨 Art. It’s real up and down sometimes. As many artists can attest to, I think. I mostly enjoy drawing for friends more than myself. Not that I don’t have my own ideas but I’m not very confident in them. I’m trying to fix that but I think that’s a pretty common artist issue as well. Unless everyone else does think they’re super awesome and it’s just me!!!
• 🎸 Anime. Well! It’s not a big one, I don’t watch as much as I’d like. Something has to really grab me. Like FLCL! You’ve probably seen one or two bits from it on my site already. It’s one of my faves and I think about it on the regular. You should watch it if you haven’t, good way to spend 2 hours (and then watch Alternative and Shoegaze. The others are meh. Don’t watch Grunge.)
• 🔧 Tinkering. Mainly with my PC. Since Microslop went real big on their Copilot AI I’ve switched over to Linux and have had a blast (good and bad) messing around with it and getting to work and look just right. Getting real into ricing. This also applies to the hardware too, I built my current PC in 2024, just before all this AI mess really hit part prices. It’s fun to tune your PC like it’s a car. They’re both machines!
• 🍳 Cooking. Sometimes! It's not my biggest hobby but I like doing it. I've got a pressure cooker I keep meaning to use more... I can make pizza though! And bread!

I think i'd rather make a different page for my interests nested in this one maybe? Something where I could go more in-depth. Like a, a LIKES page? And i'll have a big Facebook LIKE Thumbs-up 👍 on it somewhere? I don't know. That's enough facts about me for now, I think. I'm getting bored writing this.
